For the third time since 2010, Fenerbahçe Worldwide has been featured on BBC World Service Radio.  Founder Nathan L. Redd did an interview for 'The World Today' which aired Monday morning on the global news network.  Redd discussed the recent match-fixing allegations in Turkish football, with an emphasis on the claims against Fenerbahçe.

Fenerbahçe Introduce New Kits for 2010-2011 Season

Fenerbahçe introduced their new 2010-2011 season kits earlier this evening in a ceremony in Istanbul.  The team will have four new shirts to choose from this season, including the classic shirt (now with nine stripes), as well as one in green, white, and parliament blue.  There is also a navy goalkeepers' shirt as well.  Fans can purchase the new kits and complete training range starting Saturday at Fenerium stores.

Following a one-day break after returning back from their pre-season training camp in Belgium and Germany, the Yellow Canaries picked up where they left from and began preparing for their upcoming UEFA Champions League qualifiers against Young Boys with a practice session on Friday evening. The squad also welcomed new transfer Issiar Dia, as he set foot on Samandıra for the first time.

Fenerbahçe's newest transfer spoke to the media Thursday, shortly after arriving in Istanbul.  Issiar Dia made the move to Fener from French side AS Nancy-Lorraine earlier this week, and the French-born star of Senegalese heritage said he was excited about his new opportunity.  Dia told FB TV that didn't hesitate in accepting the offer from Fenerbahçe.

Fenerbahçe manager Aykut Kocaman spoke to reporters, following his team's 1-0 win over Galatasaray on Wednesday night. Kocaman stated that despite losing one man on the field, he was delighted to see his players' ambition and desire to win. "It would have been better for us to finish 11-against-11. However, our performance in the second half was terrific, especially when we were under pressure," stated the Yellow Canaries coach.

Ten-Man Fenerbahçe Beat Galatasaray Lions in Germany

Despite playing with one man down for 75 minutes, Fenerbahçe beat archrivals Galatasaray 1-0 at the Borussia Park Stadium in Mönchengladbach, Germany on Wednesday evening to lift the Spor Toto Friendly Cup. The only goal of the match came from Brazilian left back/winger André Santos who hit the back of the net in the 30th minute.
