The Turkish Football Federation announced its decision to register last weekend's IBBSpor vs. Diyarbakırspor game as a 1-0 victory in favour of the home side. The match was called off with just minutes to go, when spectators rushed onto the pitch after IBBSpor broke the deadlock in the 87th minute. Diyarbakırspor have escaped the ugly fate of relegation, as a second default 3-0 loss would have seen them relegated to Bank Asya 1. Lig.

The Yellow Canaries practiced without six players who are currently injured or sick. Manager Christoph Daum motivated his squad on Wednesday, telling them, "As a team, you have very big potential.
