Fenerbahçe's pursuit for Bursaspor goalscorer Sercan Yıldırım seems to have come to an end. The 19-year-old striker put pen to paper this week, as he extended his contract with the Green Crocs for a further year. Bursaspor has now secured Sercan Yıldırım's rights until the end of May 2012. Despite offers from top Premiership clubs, Bursaspor manager Ertuğrul Sağlam was known to be against his departure.

Fenerbahçe defensive midfielder Deniz Barış was given a miniature championship trophy as he celebrated his 32nd birthday at the start of Thursday morning's training session.
