Yellow Canaries Back To Training on Sunday Morning

Fenerbahçe players returned back to work at Samandıra's Can Bartu Training Grounds on Sunday morning. The Yellow Canaries thus began their preparations for next weekend's Turkcell Süper Lig home fixture against MKE Ankaragücü. The squad will take a day off on Monday, before resuming their practices on Tuesday morning.

Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım spoke to reporters in Eskişehir on Saturday night and announced his resignation from his chairman post in the Clubs Union Foundation, stating that from now on he will be fully backing the Yellow Canaries' rights. "We accept that the team is not going well, but we will fix this. Together with our coach and all of our players, we will fix this situation," stated Yıldırım.
Daum: "We Deserved At Least One Point Tonight"

Yellow Canaries manager Christoph Daum spoke to reporters after his team's 2-1 loss at the hands of Eskişehirspor on Saturday night. The German coach admitted that Fenerbahçe's flanks had performed very weak on the night, but also pointed at the referee's wrong calls. "We need to support this squad even more and help them grow stronger," commented Daum.
