Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım is remaining silent about the future of coach Luis Aragones. Fans and critics are putting pressure on the administration to make a change, but the Canaries' boss said no decision has been made just yet. He said the club won't make a final decision until after the season, contrary to reports last week that stated Aragones had already been told he won't return.
President Aziz Yıldırım spoke with CNNTürk this week and addressed a number of issues, including his recently announced candidacy for re-election. The chairman was also asked what he plans to do regarding the future of embattled coach Luis Aragones.
He told İlker Yasin of CNNTürk that the team's performance was as much his fault as it is the coach's. "Aragones and our players didn't make mistakes in their formations and his selections, but we simply failed. Nevertheless, I am responsible for that failure," he said.
"Aragones has a two-year contract. A year is nearly over and he has one year left," Yıldırım said. "After the season, we'll sit down together and talk about where the team is headed. Then I'll make a decision," he said.
President Aziz Yıldırım also said the club still hopes to keep defender Diego Lugano. "We have talked with his manager, Juan Figer. He will come to Istanbul again next week," he said. He indicated that Lugano wants to stay with Fener and the club hopes to work out a deal.
The chairman also stated that the club is fully behind midfielder Emre Belözoğlu despite his struggles in his first season with the Canaries. "He had some injury problems but he hasn't had any issues since January. He struggled early on because he didn't get a lot of practice time due to injury. I know he'll be more successful next season," he said. "We have a four-year deal with him. I trust him and know that he's a good football player."

I feel that only Semih, Volkan, Alex and Emre feel that way for Fenerbahce though..
I rely on Yıldırım or whoever will be chose chairman of this mighty club to make the right decisions when they are needed. I hope we will forget this shameful season with lots of success to come.
I wish the president will say something about whether they are talking to Appi or not -
