Fenerbahçe Welcomes Back Defender Roberto Carlos

Fenerbahçe's Brazilian left back Roberto Carlos reported back at Samandıra on Wednesday, as the Yellow Canaries continued their pre-season preparations. The squad greeted Roberto Carlos with a cheerful "Welcome Back" at the start of this morning's training session. The Yellow Canaries were to conduct two more training sessions on Wednesday.

Wednesday morning's training session at Samandıra began at 10:00 AM with warm-ups and coordination drills conducted by conditioner Roland Koch. The Yellow Canaries squad then continued the training session with controlled passes and attacking set pieces.

The practice continued with shooting drills and a scrimmage match. The morning training session then ended with stretching exercises. Fenerbahçe were to conduct two more training sessions in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos reported back at Samandıra on Wednesday. The Yellow Canaries greeted Carlos with a cheerful "Welcome Back" at the start of the morning training session.

The club also announced details of the training programme for the remainder of this week. Fenerbahçe will resume practice with a double training session on Thursday and triple training sessions on Friday and Saturday. The squad will then undergo medical tests on Sunday.

On another note, it was also announced on Wednesday that the Turkish Football Federation had scheduled the TFF Super Cup Final for Sunday, August 2nd. Istanbul rivals Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş are to clash at the Istanbul Atatürk Olympic Stadium at a kick-off time that will be designated in the near future.

thanks carlos3, yea i had some problems with Topuz and Alex's possession and also Kazim and Deivid. I wanted to put kazim on the left but i wanted to have some young talent on our team .

Then i decided to put alex on the back and Topuz up. Becuase Topuz is fast and a good striker. Alex can give us some really good passes from the back to the midfielders...

first of all lugano isnt coming back were giving him the money he wants but he just wants to play in europe thats it so for sure this guy is gone.....carlos should get transfered and if not he better work his ass off for next year for all the money hes getting.....deivid im not even gonna start just sell.......put alex on the bench or sell

Besiktas have a pretty good squad too.

I'd actually like to see Ernst and Holosko at Fenerbahce. Holosko is IMO one of the best players in TSL.

i want deniz ali bilgin and edu gone and hopefully guiza and get 2 new forwards im thinking a african forward cause there pretty fast and great at finishing and semih got injured in the first half kinda screwed up his game he'll be back next year without a doubt but if alex can play center attacking mid and ozer on the left mid topuz right emre center defensive ill be fine with that cause alex really wont be doing that much defending but we need 2 new defenders and at least another midfielder and i hope thats vargas

Polat10: I had a good laugh reading your little argument there with ol' carlos. To be honest it p**sed me off so much that I had to become a member just so i could leave this post. I've read a few of his posts on diff articles & I seriously dont get this guy. He seems to think that if a player doesnt score he is rubbish!
