Adriano Leaves The Door Open For Fenerbahçe Move

Brazilian international and former Inter Milan striker Adriano has set his sights on making his way back into European football and has left his door open for possible negotiations with the Yellow Canaries. The 27-year-old is reported to be currently negotiating a deal with Olympiacos of Greece, but also sees Fenerbahçe as a definite greener pasture.

The Brazilian forward recently spoke to Greek website sport-fm.gr and commented on his options for the future. Adriano revealed that he wanted to return to Europe and that he could soon be playing in either Greece or Turkey. The 27-year-old striker specifically centered his comments on the clubs Fenerbahçe and Olympiacos.

Greek Football representatives are said to have commented on the transfer saying that it would be huge for Greek football, but Fenerbahçe is a club that has been making brilliant transfers over the past years and money was not an issue that worried them. Olympiacos would have a tough time trying to compete with Fenerbahçe for Adriano's signature.

When Guiza goes if we get Adriano I would be happy with that. I would go to the dentist at this point for 90 min. rather than watch Guiza play. And if Roberto Carlos goes to Brazil is Santos going to take his spot (he did play that role in his old club)??

And if he does who is going to take Santos spot?

and finaly what do you guys think about Adriano and Semih combo?

I love hearing everyones input. Thanks guys :)

He is one of the greats. But he does not have the mental stability required. Can Turkey make Adriano Happy??? Check this link:

More recent news shows an increase in form:

I think we should get him and set him up with a nice Turkish girl :-). I am not sure if that will make him really happy or further depressed. Either way I think we should get him. Turkey may do him some good.

he is the one thing fener is missin with our playin formation. strong fast good shots good with 1 on 1. guiza n semih are not for 451. guiza n semih need support next to them not behide them where alex plays.

if we dont get him (=() then feners formation should be 433:
...............volkan...............
gokhan....lugano....bilica....santos
.....cristian.......................
..............emre.........ozer.....
......topuz...alex .....semih

or 4321:

TanzFener, your concerns are correct. However, I do think Fenerbahce is the best place to accommodate the player. Istanbul has quite a fair amount of Brazilians he can befriend.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Alex the first to befriend him.
RisingSunOnEurope • 02:12 • November 17, 2009
i like topuz and ozer in the line up to but im just sayin.. like i dont get sometimes why only like a certain 13 playrs get all the time.. like we have games in europe, the league and now the cup is coming up .. wehave talented players everywhere.. we should be able to rest a alex, a emre, a kazim and still win with our players topuz ozer and cristian switchin in.. players should rest and come to games 100 percent ..
