The Yellow Canaries finished their Istanbul phase of preparations for Saturday night's Eskişehirspor match and traveled to the city of Eskişehir on Friday afternoon. While injured players Roberto Carlos, Önder Turacı and Colin Kazım-Richards were left in Istanbul, Emre Belözoğlu surprisingly made it into the match squad for tomorrow's game.

Fenerbahçe players added the finishing touches for tomorrow night's Turkcell Süper Lig fixture against Eskişehirspor, as they completed their Istanbul phase of preparations on Friday.

German coach Christoph Daum gave the Yellow Canaries a team talk at the start of Friday's practice session. Afterwards, team conditioner Roland Koch warmed up the players with jogging, coordination and stationing drills. Friday's practice continued with crossing practices and set pieces, before ending with a scrimmage match.

While injured players Önder Turacı and Colin Kazım-Richards continued their treatments and practices inside the facilities, right back Gökhan Gönül had a light jog on the sidelines. Meanwhile, Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos suffered an injury in his right groin during today's practice match and did not make it to Eskişehir. Emre Belözoğlu, however, did surprisingly make it into the match squad.

After a four-hour bus ride, the 19-man match squad that made it to Eskişehir on Friday evening is as follows: Volkan Demirel, Volkan Babacan, Mert Günok, Diego Lugano, Fabio Bilica, Gökçek Vederson, Gökhan Gönül, Cristian Baroni, Emre Belözoğlu, Selçuk Şahin, Deniz Barış, Alex de Souza, André Santos, Deivid de Souza, Mehmet Topuz, Uğur Boral, Özer Hurmacı, Dani Güiza & Semih Şentürk.
