Canaries Ready To Complete Europa League Group Phase

Fenerbahçe are now ready to complete the group phase of the UEFA Europa League. The Yellow Canaries ended their preparations for Thursday's Sheriff game with a final practice on Wednesday evening. Injured players Emre and Deivid did not take part in tonight's practice and are most likely crossed out for the fixture. The Canaries are now in camp at Samandıra, awaiting tomorrow night's kick-off.

Wednesday's practice at Samandıra's Can Bartu Training Grounds began at 18:00 (6 PM) and took for about an hour and a half. German coach Christoph Daum gave his players a team talk at the start of the practice session, before Roland Koch gave a motivational speech after which everyone shouted out the slogan, "Last week... Three victories".

The Yellow Canaries then kicked off the action with jogging, coordination drills and warm-up exercises. Afterwards, they practiced passing drills before conducting a scrimmage match. The Fenerbahçe squad then practiced set pieces and crosses, before completing the training session with a full tactical practice match.

While Colin Kazım-Richards and Önder Turacı continued with their post-surgery recovery programmes, other injured players Emre Belözoğlu and Deivid de Souza continued to practice seperately from the rest of the squad, under physiotherapist supervision. The Yellow Canaries are now in camp at the training grounds, waiting for tomorrow night's kick-off at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, which is scheduled for 22:05 (10:05 PM).

I dont like ur line up because it rieks to old bad players!

Lets play with our talant. This is an exelant way to see what they are capable of! Dont send 33 year old players in the field. Why wast this great opportunity? They can shine in Europe for the first time in a full stadion without pressure! What a motivasion!

........................Mert...........................
Paf takim...Bekir...Paf takim...R.Carlos
..........Abdulkadir...Paf takim..................
Özer.........................................Ugur
..............Furkan....Onur.........................

Give the talants from our paf takim a chance! I want 2 see if we got tallant!

I have some bad news for those of us who use TVU it appears that soccer2 doesn't exist anymore I'm trying to find out if there's another channel that carries the games but so far no luck. :-( Man it was such a good channel I bet they busted him for copyright violations.

I don't think anyone doubted Topuz or Dos Santos? In fact until we bought him I'm sure we had no idea who Santos was.
mehmet • 10:32 • December 17, 2009
morten, it depends on who scores the goal... but the regular one is, "Sarı lacivert rengimiz, Fenerbahçe herşeyimiz, Hiçbir şeye değişmeyiz, ÇÜNKÜ FENERBAHÇELİYİZ!" :)))
