The first half of the 2009/10 Turkcell Süper Lig season came to an end last week and Fenerbahçe entered the winter break in style taking the top spot of the league standings. With Ankaraspor's early relegation there were only sixteen games played. The Yellow Canaries finished the first half of the 2009/10 Turkcell Süper Lig season with a very slim edge over their opponents, but they have a favourable fixture in the second half that could possibly help them maintain their top spot and clinch the league title in May.

Wow...Guiza & Alex are holding it down.

Poor Emre though lol.
macho-morten • 01:42 • December 27, 2009
I've noticed Emre driving the opponents crazy with his close-control. He can seemingly hold on to the ball in challenges forever, so no wonder they foul him.

some more rumours: We are still following Sercan and also caglar birinci from denizli

Kozak • 10:38 • December 27, 2009
Emre Belozoglu is the only player on our team that can hold the ball properly.
fenerbahce4life • 11:17 • December 27, 2009
alex_humarci how can you say emre is rubbish. Why does everyone criticize our players. I think all our players are equally good. Yeah sometimes they might have a loss of form, that dosent mean they're rubbish.
polat10 • 12:43 • December 27, 2009
fenerbahce4life hes an idiot, its ok just let him think in his own world.
polat10 • 12:44 • December 27, 2009
Emre is probably the only player with the best ball control.
Kozak • 12:53 • December 27, 2009
yup he could still play for any top club in the world.
alex_hurmaci10 • 13:32 • December 27, 2009
and GOKHAN the guy has had some of the worst matches lately hes lost the ball the most so why dont you start talking about him more!!!

lol guiza could have scored 25 goals but only got 25 of them that guy is completely crap
Kozak • 13:41 • December 27, 2009
Err if Guiza got 25 goals then I'd be questioning the quality of the goalkeepers we face. The standard of the keepers in the TSL is very high. The fact that you have Serdar Kulbilge playing for Genclerbirligi and Tolga Zengin not being able to play consistently shows how much expectation their is for keepers.
alex_hurmaci10 • 14:04 • December 27, 2009
so how comes Barcelona are hitting 6s and 7s and Real Madrid are hitting 8s, according to you the spanish keepers must be extremely poor when you have world class keepers like Gregory Coupet,Iker Cassilas,Victor Valdes,Kameni,Diego Lopez,Cesar Sanchez

whereas the same thing happens in the english premier league 5s,6s,7s and 8s even a nine once by Tottenham and they also have fanatstic keepers Van Der Sar,Petr Cech,Carlo Cuducini,Tim Howard,Brad Freildel,Manuel Almunia,Paul Robinson etc these keepers i just named out are probably some of the best in history of football
Kozak • 15:02 • December 27, 2009
Err are you kidding me? Barcelono and Real aren't hitting those goals against their own keeper. Also in the EPL they hardly hit 5s, 6s, 7s etc.. You rarely see that. Tottenhams win over Wigan equaled a record.
