According to the latest reports in the Turkish press, Fenerbahçe are ready to snatch Túlio de Melo from no other than their UEFA Europa League opponents, LOSC Lille Métropole. Rumours even suggest that the 24-year-old Brazilian striker will put pen to paper in Istanbul during the first week of January. Túlio de Melo is reported to have a price tag of around €3 million.

A Milliyet report on Sunday rumours that Fenerbahçe will soon make business with their UEFA Europa League opponents LOSC Lille Métropole. The Yellow Canaries are reported to have targeted the French side's young goal scorer Túlio de Melo.

According to the mentioned report, Fenerbahçe had shown interest in the 24-year-old Brazilian striker two seasons ago but a deal hadn't gone through. The paper claims that now, however, sides are close to reaching a deal. Canaries officials are reported to be in touch with Melo, who is currently on vacation in Brazil, and are trying to bring him to Istanbul during the first week of January.

Túlio de Melo is reported to be worth €3 million and the Fener management is rumoured to be close to finalizing a deal with the Brazilian striker and the French Ligue 1 side.

24-year-old Túlio de Melo has had his fair share of injuries over the past few years, but after a successful operation last season he has been able to return to the action on the green fields. Melo scored a double against AS Monaco in Lille's 4-goal win from two weeks ago.

A problem, however, for Fenerbahçe is that Túlio de Melo has already appeared in the UEFA Europa League with Lille once this season, for only nine minutes; which will make him uneligible to play in the competition under the Yellow Canaries jersey if the deal eventually goes through.
