The Yellow Canaries were back on the training ground on Monday morning, after their 1-0 victory over Antalyaspor. While players involved in last night's Antalyaspor match conducted a regeneration practice inside the facilities, the rest of the squad began preparing for next weekend's Gençlerbirliği fixture. André Santos, Cristian Baroni and Emre Belözoğlu were picked as last night's 'Men of the Match', while the squad also celebrated André's 27th birthday.

The weather was very cold but everyone was in a good mood on Monday morning, as Fenerbahçe players were back in Samandıra. Monday's practice at the Can Bartu Training Grounds began at 10:00 AM with a team meeting by Christoph Daum in the meeting room.

Afterwards, assistant coach Roland Koch announced André Santos, Cristian Baroni and Emre Belözoğlu as the 'Men of the Match' trio for last night's Antalyaspor win. Brazilian left back André Santos also lifted his miniature trophy, as the Yellow Canaries celebrated his 27th birthday.

While players involved in the Antalya victory conducted a regeneration practice inside the facilities, the rest of the squad practiced outside under assistant coach Ayhan Tumani as they kick started preparations for next weekend's Gençlerbirliği fixture.

Meanwhile, Gökçek Vederson who suffered a concussion during last night's game was not risked in today's practice as he was rested inside the facilities. Injured player Özer Hurmacı also practiced with a special training programme inside.

The Yellow Canaries will be taking the day off tomorrow, before they resume their preparations for the Gençlerbirliği game with a double practice on Wednesday.

good, nice 2 days rest for vederson.... I was sooo happy with the team's performance yesterday. We used the wings and didnt sit back at the second half wich was a huge thing. When we sat back we always conceded goal.

the only way we will win this league is if we win and gala and bursa loses, if we lose gala and bursa loose.

Guys: for the gala derby if arda get's a yellow card in the trabzon game before our big derby he will be suspended. So i really hope arda get's a yellow card in the trabzon game.

Temirov123 • 23:45 • March 8, 2010
i dont think we should worry abt kayseri, they are going out of energy...
Kozak • 01:08 • March 9, 2010
Yeah Kayseri is running out of steam. Much like Sivas last year.
polat10 • 02:24 • March 9, 2010
serdar, if ozer is fit to play take deivid out and put ozer in that position
Kozak • 09:55 • March 9, 2010
^ or put Ozer on left and take out Unal. No use putting players in positions they can't play.
