Fenerbahçe were back on the practice pitch Thursday night at the Can Bartu Training Facilities in Istanbul. The team is preparing for their next league contest Saturday night against Gençlerbirliği. Coach Christoph Daum told the players Thursday that he wanted to see a more aggressive team to face the Ankara side.
The team met Thursday night at 18:00 local time for a training session that lasted an hour and 40 minutes. Before practice began, Christoph Daum met with the team and told them he wanted them to be more aggressive and put the pressure on their opponents in Saturday's Gençlerbirliği match.
Roland Koch and Ayhan Tumani worked with the team Thursday, beginning with running, coordination work, and some station exercises. The team then worked on attacking and defending, and took on each other in an intrasquad scrimmage.
Defender Diego Lugano was experiencing some mild pain, and team trainers held him out of the end of practice as a precaution. Gökhan Gönül and Uğur Boral did not participate in Thursday's session, as both continued their treatment inside the facilities.
The team will practice again Friday at noon in a session that is closed to the press. They will then depart Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 16:00 local time en route to Ankara for Saturday's match.

That Hazard kid is amazing, scored a goal against Liverpool. Would like to see him on our team.. Know that aint gonna happen because he'll be playing for Arsenal or something next year.
Was going crazy when he had the ball in our game against Lille..
