Yellow Canaries defensive midfielder Cristian Baroni is expected to pay a visit to the Acıbadem Hospital, following an injury blow he took in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Gençlerbirliği. Baroni was seen limping off the field in the second half, as he was later replaced by Deniz Barış. Initial reports fear that the Brazilian midfielder might become the latest addition to the injuries list.

Fenerbahçe's Brazilian defensive midfielder Cristian Baroni may well be the latest addition to the list of injured Yellow Canaries. Baroni was seen limping off the field in the second half of Saturday evening's Gençlerbirliği game. The successful midfielder was later replaced by Deniz Barış in the 65th minute.

According to reports from Lig TV and Ajansspor, Cristian Baroni will be undergoing MRI scans at the Acıbadem Hospital shortly after the Yellow Canaries return back to Istanbul. Baroni's condition is feared to be serious. The club is expected to issue a detailed report about Baroni's injury status.
