Canaries defensive midfielder Cristian Baroni is possibly crossed out of Fener's upcoming Galatasaray derby, two weeks from now. According to reports in the Turkish press, the Brazilian player diagnosed with a muscle tear in the back of his right leg will be out of action for at least three weeks. Cristian is expected to miss fixtures against Gaziantepspor (home), Galatasaray (away) and Kayserispor (home).

According to Monday's reports in the Turkish press, Fenerbahçe is going to be without Brazilian defensive midfielder Cristian Baroni in their big derby at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium two weeks from now. After picking up a knock during Saturday's Gençlerbirliği game, Cristian was diagnosed with a six centimeter muscle tear in the back of his right leg.

A Doğan News Agency report picked up by Hürriyet, Milliyet and Fanatik claims that the Brazilian player will be out of action from at least three weeks to up to a month. This means that Cristian Baroni will be missing Fenerbahçe's next three Turkcell Süper Lig fixtures; Gaziantepspor (home), Galatasaray (away) and Kayserispor (home).

Fenerbahçe players are currently taking the day off today and will be continuing their preparations for this Saturday's Gaziantepspor game with a double practice on Tuesday. In the meantime, the club administration is soon expected to make an official statement regarding the details of Cristian Baroni's injury.
