Alex: "We Still Have A Shot At Winning The League Title"

Yellow Canaries captain Alexsandro de Souza spoke about the team's decaying form in recent games and stated that every player was responsible for all the bad results. Following last weekend's goalless draw with Gençlerbirliği, Alex wrote an editorial on his personal website stating, "We still have a shot at winning the league title, but our hopes are diminishing every week."
Brazilian playmaker Alexsandro de Souza missed Fenerbahçe's last league fixtures through a two-match suspension and his abscence was heavily felt during Saturday's goalless draw in Ankara. The Yellow Canaries skipper wrote an editorial on his personal website www.alex10.com.br following the Gençlerbirliği game and commented on the team's current performance.
"We dropped yet another two points at an away game that we had initially targeted to win," wrote Alex. "Actually every game in Ankara is difficult, but unfortunately we were unable to overcome this tough task," continued the Fenerbahçe captain. "There's one thing I've learned very early from football and life; we cannot hide behind our mistakes with excuses," commented Alex.
"This is why we have to ponder calmly about what's going on and evaluate as to why we're not getting good results," said the Canaries skipper. "Who is responsible for all this? My answer is: Everyone. Just as each and every one of us has a part in all our glory and success, we also have a share in the negative results," commented the Brazilian playmaker.
Fenerbahçe captain Alex de Souza, who is set to embark on his 250th match with the Yellow Canaries this weekend, stressed that nothing yet was lost. "We still have a shot at winning the league title, but our hopes are diminishing every week," stated Alex. "So from now on, we don't have the luxury to make any more mistakes," warned the team captain.

bursa still has to play bjk, gala, we have a chance!
:: Galatasaray ::
Trabzonspor
Fenerbahce
Sivasspor
Diyarbakirspor
Manisaspor
Bursaspor
Istanbul BB
Antalyaspor
Genclerbirligi
I'd say they will probably only lose 2 of these games, let's say to us and to Antalya. Assuming worst case scenario (no draws) this puts them at 74 points.
:: Bursaspor ::
Denizlispor
Istanbul BB
Antalyaspor
Genclerbirligi
Gaziantepspor
Galatasaray
Kayserispor
Ankaraspor
Besiktas
Now lets assume they also only lose 2 games - Gala and Beskitas. Assuming no draws that puts them at 76 points.
:: Beskitkas ::
Kasimpasa
Eskisehirspor
Ankaragücü
Trabzonspor
Fenerbahce
Sivasspor
Diyarbakirspor
Manisaspor
Bursaspor
Again let's assume they lose 2, against Es-es and Bursa. Assuming no draws that puts Beskitas at 72.
:: Fenerbahce ::
Gaziantepspor
Galatasaray
Kayserispor
Ankaraspor
Besiktas
Kasimpasa
Eskisehirspor
Ankaragücü
Trabzonspor
Based on the results above we would beat Gala and Besiktas. If we won every other game (no draws) we would finish the league with 76 points, tying Bursa (depending on goals).
So the conclusion here is that we need to win every game for the rest of the season AND have the 3 teams ahead of us each lose at least 2 games. That's a huge accomplishment. Basically if we lose this weekend we are out of the title race.
Bursaspor has 4 big games... Gala bjk gaziantep and kayseri. They might even draw to kayseri.
But it is very hard for us to keep winning every game. I am not saying it's impossible, but it will be dificult to keep up when we play 2 cups at a time.
Genclerbirligi
Gaziantepspor
Galatasaray
Kayserispor
Bursa can easily draw or lose to these teams.
We definitely need to win our remaining games. One slip up and it might all be over.
Dont tell me we got enough mids. Because i saw what happended when 2 midfielders got injured. WE defenetly need a striker. Guiza and semih are just horrible we can't win without our mid. They are the ones who score
Santos has been brilliant, Cristian holds our midfield, Alex assists/scores, Vederson is always fighting.
We need more of these great Brazilians, their attitude and style rub off on our players for the better.
Well vederson might not be a top class player. But his attiture is great. And he does his job. No i am not againts brazilians or south americans.... I want players from there because it is hot there and they play football year round. Also african players would be amazing.
