Fenerbahçe were back on the practice pitch Thursday night at the Can Bartu Training Facilities as the team prepares for Gaziantepspor.  Coach Christoph Daum did as much work on the players' psyche as he did their physical conditioning Thursday, telling them they must not give up hope for a league title.

The team met at 17:00 local time Thursday night and practiced for approximately an hour and 45 minutes.  Before practice began, Christoph Daum spoke to the players about their confidence heading down the stretch.

"We don't know what will happen until the end of the season, but we'll get better," Daum told the players Thursday.  "We control our fate until the last whistle of the last match.  The important thing is that we have to believe in ourselves.  I believe in you.  You must believe in yourself," he said.  Assistant Coach Roland Koch also told the players that Fener would be the team of the week next week.

Once the training started, the team began with conditioning and some station work under the supervision of Roland Koch.  The footballers worked on quickness and coordination exercises, as well as some running.  They finished up with an intrasquad scrimmage Thursday.

Cristian, Emre, and Uğur did not participate in tonight's practice.  Cristian and Uğur are dealing with injuries, while Emre was suffering from an illness.  The team will practice again at 18:00 Friday night before entering camp ahead of Saturday's Gaziantepspor match.
