The Turkish Football Federation announced its decision to register last weekend's IBBSpor vs. Diyarbakırspor game as a 1-0 victory in favour of the home side. The match was called off with just minutes to go, when spectators rushed onto the pitch after IBBSpor broke the deadlock in the 87th minute. Diyarbakırspor have escaped the ugly fate of relegation, as a second default 3-0 loss would have seen them relegated to Bank Asya 1. Lig.

The Turkish Football Federation Board gathered on Friday afternoon to discuss the outcome of last Sunday's IBBSpor vs. Diyarbakırspor match which was called off in the 87th minute after incidents broke out following IBBSpor forward Hervé Tum's late goal.

Match official Hüseyin Göçek was heavily criticized for not resuming the game after rioters were cleared off the pitch, even accused by Diyarbakırspor representatives of sabotaging them. The TFF's decision on the outcome of the game was even more critical, when just days ago Diyarbakırspor were given a default 3-0 loss for their disrupted game against Bursaspor two weeks ago.

According to Turkish Football Federation rulings, a second default 3-0 loss would have seen Diyarbakırspor relegated to Bank Asya 1. Lig. TFF Vice President Lütfi Arıboğan announced the Federation's decision to register the game as a 1-0 victory in favour of IBBSpor, keeping the score as it was when the game was called off and also keeping Diyarbakırspor in the Turkcell Süper Lig.

Here's how the Turkcell Süper Lig standings now look following TFF's decision:
