Rumour  •  Author: Mehmet Pozam   •   Tuesday, July 20, 2010 Picture

In today's press scan, news reports from the Turkish and International press linking Fenerbahçe with transfer moves for Asamoah Gyan, Grafite, Miloš Krasić and others. Please note that Fenerbahçe Worldwide does not confirm any of the following transfer rumours.

The following transfer rumours were linked in Turkish and International media, although each is pure speculation unless the club issues an official statement. We do not hold any of the rumours to be truth.

Fenerbahçe Worldwide will publish one article of transfer rumours per day (as long as there is demand), and the list will be updated throughout the day as more are reported. Please check the article periodically for updates.

Asamoah Gyan (Rennes)
Striker - 24 years old
Sabah, Vatan

While Sabah suggests that Fenerbahçe and Rennes have reached an agreement and that 24-year-old Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan will decide upon his future this week, Vatan claims that Fenerbahçe have upped their offer and that Yellow Canaries officials are expected to finalize the deal in France later this week.

Grafite (VfL Wolfsburg)
Striker - 31 years old
Sabah, Vatan, Pas Fotomaç, DPA, WAZ

Reports in the Turkish press write VfL Wolfsburg general manager Dieter Hoeneß' statement that they have received a request for talks from Fenerbahçe, but not a formal proposition. German news agency DPA has stated talks between the clubs have picked up speed.

Miloš Krasić (CSKA Moscow)
Attacking midfielder - 25 years old

Turkish daily Habertürk cites reports in the Serbian press that Miloš Krasić is tired of waiting for Juventus. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder is reported to have said that he will wait for the Serie A club's decision until Friday and after that he will consider offers from Manchester City and Fenerbahçe. Krasić is reportedly attracted by Fener's lucrative offer and the chance to play in the UEFA Champions League. "My transfer will be settled in the next ten days, but I'm open to everything," the player is reported to have said.

AS Nancy-Lorraine striker/winger Issiar Dia, Manisaspor goalkeeper Orkun Uşak, Gençlerbirliği striker Mustafa Pektemek and Olympique de Marseille striker Brandão have also been linked with Fenerbahçe.

Disclaimer: Fenerbahçe Worldwide does not confirm any of the above rumours or state that they are anything else than mere speculation. Please wait for official announcements from the club management.

You guys hear that Eskisehir signed Tello? What a signing. They'll be even stronger this season: Batuhan, Karan, Tello, Pele, Erkan Zengin, Sezer Ozturk etc.
Kozak • 15:21 • July 20, 2010
Aykut Kocaman confirmed himself that we're going to sign 1 or 2 players :D

Also check out Cristian and the baklava haha!

Hoeness didn't say they got an offer from Fenerbahce, the Turkish media sucks. Hoeness denied the Fenerbahce rumours and also said a certain club from Istanbul wanted to talk with them. Besiktas is still searching for a foward, Santa Cruz and Grafite are both on their list, I think it's Besiktas. It might aswell be Gala as they search for a partner for Baros. I don't think it's us, 'cause we'll go for younger players.

By the way Kozak, Umit Karan won't play at Es Es anymore. He didn't add much to the club. Es Es also wants Zapo, they'll get a pretty good team. I hope we sign Sezer, I rate him higher then Volkan Sen.

Krasić dont deserv to come to Fener, Using us as a "second chose" when there is no other.

We should get Nimar, his young and good and hopefully we could sell him in 2 years and make a lot of money.
khoda • 15:55 • July 20, 2010
Btw, Manisaspor goalkeeper Orkun Uşak, why do we even need him?
Kozak • 15:56 • July 20, 2010
It doesn't matter if he didn't add much to the club. They aren't a big club and aren't letting a player who earns what he does sit on the bench or in reserves. Same situation as us with Guiza.

Besides, Umits performance started to pick up near the end of the season. He still has a killer finish.

You guys should watch Kozak's link from LigTv. Holy moly Cristian... How many can you eat at a time? LOL.
JayJayOkocha • 16:06 • July 20, 2010

Umit is not at Es Es anymore. They broke the contract.
Kozak • 16:14 • July 20, 2010
Oh really? I didn't know that. My bad, erase what I said :)

And yeah skulaksiz its hilarious haha. He keeps coming in and out of the video to get some more :P
tek_buyuk • 16:41 • July 20, 2010
My favorite part of that video is the fans lighting flares in the practice! As a famous Georgetown (almost) alum once said- "We're not even talking about a game, we're talkin bout practice!"
Temirov123 • 17:11 • July 20, 2010

Krasic got screwed by Juve a little!I read an interview by the serbian international stating that he is getting pissed about his current situation and that he would rather not stay in Russia!So...that leaves the door pretty widely open for us!
RisingSunOnEurope • 21:08 • July 20, 2010
