Fenerbahçe continued preparation on Wednesday for their final Turkcell Süper Lig game of the season on Saturday at Trabzonspor. Wednesday's training was the first full practice of the week for all members of the team.
The team met at 11:00 on Wednesday morning and practiced for approximately an hour and a half. Diego Lugano, Roberto Carlos, Gökçek Vederson, Uğur Boral, Önder Turacı, and Deniz Barış all missed Wednesday's session due to injury. Goalkeeper Volkan Demirel again ran and practiced lightly with the medical and coaching staff. After sitting out Tuesday's session, striker Semih Şentürk was back with the team this morning. Tümer Metin, who has been on-loan to Greek side Larissa FC since January, also trained with the team again on Wednesday.
Fenerbahçe also announced on Wednesday that defender Diego Lugano has left Türkiye to travel back to his native Uruguay where he will finish his recovery. Lugano injured tendons in his left knee during the Galatasaray match ten days ago.
