Spanish Clubs Eyeing Aurelio

Mehmet Aurelio is no stranger to transfer rumours. The Brazilian-born midfielder has been a star for both Fenerbahçe and the Turkish National Team. The star has Turkish citizenship, which makes him a valuable commodity to the Canaries because of the foreign player limit. However, a growing list of European clubs are reportedly interested in Aurelio.
Spanish clubs Real Betis and Deportiva La Coruña have both expressed interested in Aurelio this week, reports have stated. According to Aurelio's agent, Deportiva has contacted him about the midfielder's services.
"Mehmet Aurelio is a very interesting player for Deportivo," Deportiva's Director of Futbol Operations was quoted as saying to Aurelio's agent. He told Spanish newspaper AS that the representative told him "I knew of him, and he's ended up convincing me after the European Championships."
Aurelio has been a consistent veteran in the midfield for Fener since coming from Trabzonspor in 2003. The 30-year-old acquired Turkish citizenship in 2006, and has led Fener in winning three domestic titles and a Turkish Super Cup since becoming a Canary.

But both him and his family seems to be very happy in Istanbul. His daugther has even learned to say some turkish words! And her father, Aurelio, knows the Turkish National Anthem. I believe he has adopted Turkey into his heart.

To lose a game usually comes down to one or two errors and having one error prone player is enough, let alone a few.
